"The United States is comprised of over 300 million individuals with unique cultures, identities, and backgrounds, and the population is only becoming more diverse over time. A recent Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data, for example, determined that the “post-Millennial generation”—those born from 1997 to 2012—is “the most racially and ethnically diverse generation” in the country’s history."

"In the past two years, the amount of data generated by the global population has reached an all-time high. Humans now produce 2.5 quintillion bytes of data per day through the use of smartphones, social media, and websites like Google, and 90 percent of that total data worldwide has been created within the last two years alone. With these increasing numbers has also come an expanding reliance on the use of such quantifiable information in business."

"There are few strategies more influential in a presentation than referencing raw data. Having the ability to share completed research or the analysis of collected statistics gives the subject you are presenting on the necessary context and factual basis that we as humans need in order to accept something as truth. Today, this type of raw data is available on more subjects than ever before."

"In today’s corporate world where expectations are high and timelines are short, the role of a project manager is more vital than ever. The Project Management Institute (PMI) predicts that by 2027, there will be almost 22 million new project management jobs globally due to this increasing need for the high-level facilitation of processes within organizations."

"It’s no secret that an effective leadership strategy can be the difference between an organization that flourishes and one that fails. What most do not consider, however, is the effort that goes into identifying which approach a leader should take in order to make the biggest impact."

"Cyberattacks are a leading cause of fear among Americans today—and with good reason. According to a 2017 Pew Research Center study, 64 percent of Americans “have personally experienced a major data breach.” As a result, citizens have developed an overall lack of trust in the government and social media—which both possess a vast majority of their private information—and their ability to protect that data."

"People choose to pursue graduate degrees for many reasons. Some are hoping it will give them the skills and experiences needed to advance in their field. Others want to change careers or industries altogether and enroll in a program to get the educational expertise they need to make the switch. Other professionals pursue an advanced degree for the financial incentive, whether it be a higher-paying role in their current field or a new career in a more lucrative industry."

"Research shows employees are motivated by the possibility of career advancement. The idea of moving up at work keeps us engaged with our tasks, innovative in our approaches, and excited about future opportunities, whether those opportunities include increased responsibility, new projects, or even a promotion. But what happens when you feel like you've done all you can to demonstrate you're qualified and ready for career advancement, and still can't manage to move up?"
